The Jack & Jill Foundation is an Irish children’s charity close to our hearts. Now we are working with them to raise incredibly important funds and are asking you to join us.

With the support of Gala retail, Jack & Jill have launched their Up the Hill fundraising initiative for the month of September.  The idea is that as many people as possible climb a hill, any hill, big or small, with each person donating €16.

Why €16? It is an important number, as it represents the amount needed to fund one hour of home nursing care. Having met Jack & Jill families and nurses, we don’t think of it as a donation, instead it is a gift of one hour’s care for a child.

To help launch the ‘Up the Hill’ initiative, DDFH&B partnered with our friends in Mindshare and embarked on a 12km hill climb from Marlay Park to the famous Johnnie Fox’s, clocking up lots of invaluable nursing hours in the process.

Please register online and climb your hill for Jack & Jill this September.
